Third Stage - Outreach Support Program

At Harmony House, we recognize that healing and growth do not end when a family moves out of our building. Many families continue to benefit from support as they settle into their new homes and navigate life in the wider community. Our Third Stage Program, also known as our Outreach Program, extends this circle of care beyond our walls.

This stage offers up to one year of continued support for former Harmony House residents who are living independently. Services are responsive and personalized, and may include:

  • Transportation to grocery stores, medical appointments, or community services

  • Housing and tenancy support

  • Advocacy and referrals

  • Emotional support and check-ins, as needed

We also recognize that sometimes a mother or family may connect with Harmony House before entering our residence. In these cases, we may recommend beginning with Third Stage outreach support, helping families stabilize and prepare for the transition into our First Stage residential program—if and when they feel ready. From there, they may move forward into Second Stage or return to Outreach, depending on their unique journey.

Our role is to walk alongside, offering relational support, practical tools, and cultural safety—without judgment or pressure.

At Harmony House, we believe in the power of long-term relationships. We are honoured to stay connected with the families who have called our space home, and we hold space for ongoing connection, care, and community—wherever the path may lead.

At this time outreach support is only directed towards Harmony House families entering or exiting our program.
