Ts’oodun Be'Unt’oh Yoh — Second Stage Program

Ts’oodun Be'Unt’oh Yoh (translated as “Home for Mother and/with Child”) is our Second Stage Program, located on the second floor of the Harmony House building. This space offers a pathway forward for women and their children who are continuing their healing and transition journey.

Second Stage is available to those transferring from Harmony House First Stage or to women residing temporarily at our sister house - Phoenix Transition Society under the Harmony House mandate. Residency is available for up to 18 months, providing the time and space needed to further develop independence while remaining connected to community supports.

Unfortanutely, the Ts’oodun Be ‘Unt’oh Yoh living spaces are only open to families who come through our program and demonstrate a readiness to move towards semi-independence.

Rooted in the values of Two-Eyed Seeing, Ts’oodun Be'Unt’oh Yoh brings together both Indigenous and Western understandings of wellness, healing, and self-determination. The program is designed to honour each woman’s capacity to lead her own life with strength, while offering support when needed.

What We Offer:

This stage provides semi-independent living with light-touch, wraparound support. Residents have access to:

  • Advocacy and systems navigation

  • Food bank connections

  • Housing search and tenancy support

  • Counselling referrals

  • Employment and training resources

  • Daycare application support

While participation in Harmony House programming is optional at this stage, residents are welcome to take part in any offerings that align with their personal goals or cultural practices.

Each resident has access to a private bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom spaces. In Second Stage, individuals begin cooking for themselves, caring for their living space, and deepening their readiness for reintegration into the broader community.

Community Agreements:

  • Residents are asked to be in the building by 10:00 PM nightly

  • Each woman is encouraged to contribute to a respectful, substance-free, and culturally safe shared environment
